Cheryl Chaben

​Cheryl comes to us after spending nearly 15 years working as the Executive Director of a non-
profit organization in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Prior to that she co-owned a successful
mortgage business. She has extensive experience working with Board of Directors, volunteers,
lay leaders and members. Cheryl was responsible for all aspect of the day-to-day operations
including administration, finances and budget. She also assisted with all fundraising programs,
capital campaigns and has had successful experience with grant writing. In addition, Cheryl
worked very closely with the all the various constituents and committees of the organization.
Cheryl retired in 2021 and enjoys spending time traveling with her husband Dr. Steven
Friedman. Together they have 6 children, a pup named Milo and have just welcomed their
second grandchild.
