(*) These commemorative scarves are made by a collective of over forty (40) financially disadvantaged women in Delhi, India from locally sourced materials. Earning a fair wage of 750INR or $10.00 per hour allows many mother/employees to afford schooling and even tutoring for their children. In addition, the collective, WORK + SHELTER, continues to pay this wage to its workers during economic downturns, so women had an income during the several month shutdown in India due to COVID-19. You can feel the love and kindness woven into these gorgeous scarves.
