Bria is currently a public policy advisor with a leading health insurance organization, providing policy analysis and advocacy related to government health care programs. Bria previously worked as a staff attorney at a legal aid organization providing legal assistance on a variety of issues ranging from housing to public benefits.

Bria holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Organizational Studies and Spanish and Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Bria received her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law. She is a class of 2021 alumni of the Michigan Political Leadership Program and a current fellow of New Leaders Council-Detroit.

​Bria has a history of volunteering and advocacy, which currently focuses on issues impacting families and working mothers in particular. Bria enjoys traveling, an array of cultural experiences and spending time with her family.
