Andrea Schroeder – Brief Bio

Andrea Schroeder was a long standing member of the WON Foundation. She was elected to represent the 43rd District in the State House in 2018 and reelected in 2020 when she was also selected to be the majority whip for the current term (2021-2022).

Before being elected to the Legislature in 2018 and 2020, Andrea Schroeder served six years on the Independence Township Board of Trustees, on her school district's Parent-Teacher Association, on school advisory committees and several other organizations. Schroeder attended Farmington Public Schools, earned a Bachelor of Science in child studies/early childhood education from Miami University and did some graduate work at Wheelock College in Boston.  

Andrea Schroeder passed away on October 1, 2021 after a battle with stomach cancer. She is survived by her husband, Mark and three children, Grace, Maggie and Luke .

We will miss Andrea Schroeder and continue to be motivated by her example.
