Robin McGregor

A dedicated community leader with a long and distinguished record of service. Committed to the environment, education, and worker rights. Robin currently serves the Oakland County Parks, preserving and maintaining green spaces. She was formerly employed by Consumers Energy for over three decades. During her tenure there, she held multiple leadership positions within the Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 105, advocating for worker rights and safety. Her leadership consisted of 3 terms as Union President, also Trustee, and Delegate. Robin has also served as Treasurer and recording Secretary on the Waterford School District Board of Education.
She has certifications from the Michigan Association of School Boards, Labor certification from Wayne State and Cornell University. She has also received numerous awards; Rotary Change Makers-for her work with youth, American Businesswomen’s Association-Woman of the Year, and the Veteran's Advisory Panel-Patriot's Award.
