Felicia WisemanFelicia Wiseman is a Journeyman Inside Wireman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 58 in Detroit, Michigan. With more than twenty-seven years in the trade she has represented her Local and the IBEW in multiple arenas.
She is currently the elected Treasurer, an Organizer, delegate to the Central Labor Council and several other labor and community groups. She is a member of the Community Service, Entertainment, Women’s, PAC, Safety, RENEW, and the Women’s golf team. She is also a National Executive Board member of the Electrical Workers Minority Caucus (EWMC), Michigan Apprenticeship Steering Committee Incorporated (MASCI) and Building Impact. She believes in action instead of just words and actively participates with labor and community groups through community service and volunteering throughout the community. As a graduate of the University of Michigan and the five-year Inside Construction Apprenticeship program she realizes the benefit of our industry training. She focuses her efforts on outreach and recruitment to those who have never been exposed to this golden pathway to the Middle Class. She believes that the IBEW is full of opportunities and space for anyone who, given the chance, is willing to step up to the challenge. |
